Trouble was a bit different in personality than most of our kids ... full of energy and always looking for something to do, a perpetual puppy. He was friendly as they come, but forgot (as he jumped on your chest to look you in the eye) that he weighed a tad more than the 10 pounds of puppyhood when he neatly fit upon my lap!

To me, Trouble was the culmination of attributes I liked on both his father (Skie) and uncle (Dreamer) accumulated in one Boxer . . . he was the culmination of what I had in mind of the "perfect Boxer" for me.

Don't walk with him past a grooming table! He thought they were all made to jump on (don't know how many times he thought he needed to be groomed), just like a little leap-frog, he played leap-table!

Sadly, Trouble was laid to rest the Tuesday following Memorial Day 2005 with a very sudden failure of health ... the vet felt he had ingested something toxic with his coat and body being in such great shape and him otherwise in such pain and sudden weight loss.  He was perectly fine on Friday, but started to act a little strange on Saturday, on Sunday he was a little unsteady ... by Monday night he almost appeared "drunk" and I knew I had to get him to the vet first thing Tuesday morning. The only thing we can suspect was a dead bird which he apparently got to before us (perhaps the bird was poisoned thereby causing the.same to Trouble?).  If this is so, beware of such things you might eye in your yards!
