Luie was not very photogenic, however, she was beautiful despite her flopped crop. She was born of our first Princess who went to live with a family in Kalamazoo, Michigan -- Princess' picture is/was the pup picture available on the Boxer watches. Luie was a single puppy, although she did have a brother who did not survive due to a vet being too busy to follow through on oxytocin/C-section protocol. Probably due to being a single puppy, Luie's mom preferred to sleep on the bed versus in the whelping box. Luie spent many hours carried around in my T-shirt. Fortunate for Boxerly impact, Holly was going through some kind of puppy-dream-crisis (false pregnancy?) and gladly adopted Luie in place of her squeaky toys . . . even making milk for her when Luie was around 5 weeks of age which Luie gladly took advantage of. We were never able to get Luie's ears to stand due to a tape allergy, not that it bothered HER one bit. Luie went on to produce a litter of most promising puppies, alas only the one we kept went on to be shown (Skie) . . . the rest are BEAUTIFUL and beloved pets, including a most gorgeous "plain" male, Elliott.
