Ahh . . . Precious. This is our second baby with the name of Precious, but it so fit her, that we just had to go with it. Nearly lost as a baby from a heating pad malfunction, we nursed her back to health. She had a few complications and set-backs, but you would not know it to look at her today.
Her and our first Frenchie, Kelly (pictured behind her) were quite the pals. Kelly would prefer to sleep with Precious in her crate versus my bed . . . alas we lost Precious' pal Kelly in January of 2005. She now has our other Frenchie, Gizmo (and now Ebony), however, the bond was between she and Kelly as they were puppies together. She is just a big lover and has adapted well to the smaller Frenchies in the household, totally oblivious to their antics as they try to be "in charge".
Precious is the daughter to our Lacie and our departed Patton . . . Precious was born in July and Patton received his dire diagnosis the following October.
Before my move to Lake Station, Precious went to live with friends in Morrocco, Indiana, with other Boxers related to her. She is spoiled there and loved by all who come to meet her.
